Thinking About Incorporating

There are so many benefits to forming a corporation, I just think that most people are scared, or intimated by the word “CORPORATION,” they think suits, ties and office buildings. In reality there are so many businesses, home-based or not, that are incorporated and run by just a few people or less. The cousin to the corporation is the Limited Liability Company, these entities are fairly new, compared to corporations, but they provide similar liability protection. Another thing that people are usually intimidated by are the forms used to file with the state. Most times it’s not more than a few sheets of paper that must be filed, if you’re still iffy about everything, you can always go to a lawyer (which is usually very overpriced) or try somewhere online (below are a couple links).
